Our Winter Jackets have been in design and production for the last 6 months. We have tested different fabrics, filling, buttons, pocket sizes, zips and everything else that goes towards making a Jacket suitable for Jnglsts. They are part of our 2016 Winter Collection.
After initial designs and sketches had been made, we had to design our own Camo pattern. We wanted something with slightly different colours from the usual camouflage, so after a lot of experimenting our first camo pattern was born. It was sent of to our factory to be printed on the Jacket fabric and all system were go.
Our first prototypes came back a few months later and we road tested them thoroughly for Junglist use. We stood in rain showers to give us an authentic UK test, we stood in the sun for hours for the Junglist who never takes his jacket off, we rolled in the mud and generally thrashed it around. But it withstood the lot. A few adjustments to the hood size and feel and a little arm shortening and we were nearly there.
We made a prototype with our Jnglst logo embroidered on the arm, but after wearing it, decided it was perhaps a little bit too much and thought we’d go for a more subtle look. So we went about sourcing some small buttons that could have out logo on them. Too subtle? well maybe.
We needed something warm and hard wearing, but breathable, with some nice detailing.

We loved the buttons with our logo on and thought they were an amazing touch.
We nearly went with having out Logo on the arm, but changed our mind after wearing a sample for a few days and decided to go for something a little more subtle.
This jacket will last you for years, it is a comfy fit (we had to shorten the endlessly long flappy arms many times to get it just right), the colours really pop off from it and it looks great.
